COVID-19
A message from Kathy Miller, CEO and Founder
We believe that companies like ours are the cornerstone of communities. In times of crisis, it is more important than ever for our community to know they can count on us. We take that responsibility seriously, and I wanted to let you know about some of the things we are doing to help minimize the impact COVID-19 has on your loved ones, our employees and our community.
- We provide weekly updated information from the CDC and public health department to our employees and client families.
- We are carefully monitoring our caregivers and client’s health and safety
- We are now providing FDA approved N95 masks and gloves to our caregivers
- In the event we run out due to the worldwide shortage we are prepared to make physician recommended masks ourselves out of HEPA bags
- We are practicing extensive Infection Control Policies and carefully monitoring our caregiver staff to ensure they are following these policies
- We are constantly reviewing our caregiver schedules so that they stay with the same client in order to avoid the possibility of cross contamination.
Our top priority is to keep people safe.
Like many companies, we have already limited employee travel, and asked our employees to stay home if they aren’t feeling well. We have expanded our flexible leave policies to allow them the time they need to take care of themselves and their family members, and we are giving them the tools they need to stay healthy.
This is a difficult time, but we are here for you and your loved ones. Thank you for the trust you place in us.
We are currently offering care assessments virtually, so we can keep you and your loved ones safe.
