Currently, there are over 100 types of cancer, and each patient has a completely unique experience. The disease development as well as the aggressive treatments bring about a host of symptoms which can be difficult to manage independently. These extreme changes can leave the patient in a fragile state, both physically and emotionally, while also taking a toll on family relationships.
