I would like to thank Gentle Shepherd Home Care for providing my mom and sister with great in-home care. Carmen is providing exceptional care for both my mom and sister. She makes them meals, plays dominos (Mom’s favorite), takes mom to her hair appointment and out to lunch once a week. The house always looks great, too. She always goes above and beyond and has a way of making everyone feel special.
Recently my sister had an issue with her heart. When Carmen went to check on her, she realized something was wrong. She immediately called an ambulance, and they transported her to the Trauma center. She played a major role in saving my sister’s life.
On Thanksgiving, we were talking about things we were thankful for, and Carmen was at the top of the list. My mom said “Carmen is a member of our family”.
One thing I am thankful for is when I return home (out of state), I don’t have to worry about the care they receive
